MEDICAL INCAPACITY MANAGEMENT SERVICES
SICK LEAVE ANALYSIS AND MANAGEMENT
Analysing employee sick leave trends.
Consult with medical practitioners and healthcare providers involved in the employee’s care.
Manage each case in accordance with corporate policies, protocols, and best practices.
Conduct cost-benefit analysis of proposed interventions to assess effectiveness and organizational impact.
VERIFICATION OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES (MENTAL AND/OR PHYSICAL)
Identify individuals for further assessment regarding potential disabilities or medical incapacity.
Obtain informed consent for the disclosure of relevant medical and psychological information.
Compile and issue a formal verification report for inclusion in annual reporting to relevant authorities.
Provide recommendations on reasonable accommodations to support compliance.
MANAGEMENT OF WORK-RELATED INJURIES AND ILLNESSES
Early identification of employees at risk
Obtain weekly / monthly records of injury on duty cases
Contact employees affected as well as medical service providers to develop appropriate Early Return to Work Programs
Regular follow-up on progress and achieving of goals and objectives
Advise management on management of individual cases on regular basis
Manage documents (reporting, follow-up and final reports) to authorities
MANAGEMENT OF EMPLOYEES SUFFERING FROM EXISTING OR POTENTIAL MEDICAL INCAPACITY
Identify individuals for further investigation for potential Persons With Disabilities
Determine temporary or permanent
Development of Return to Work (Own or Alternative) Programs (Mental or physical work hardening and/or transitional work)
Regular follow-up on progress and achieving of goals and objectives
Advise management on management of individual cases on regular basis
Assist with Medical Incapacity Management Committees
Assist with reporting and claiming of disability benefits where applicable
